    Speech-Language Pathologist

    Our team is immediately seeking a committed and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist for one of our partner schools in Maywood, IL. This is a full-time position, supporting two schools within this district for the school year.

    Location: Maywood, IL 60153

    Role Overview:

    • Fully Self-Contained setting
    • SLP will work at one school 1.5-2 days per week in a program for K-8th grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.
    • Support students 1:1 and in groups.
    • There is another SLP onsite full-time for support and to collaborate with.
    • SLP will work at another school within the district 3-3.5 days per week and will support in classrooms primarily with 3rd-12th grade students.
    • These classrooms are also Self-Contained settings, working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (verbal/non-verbal, Multiple Disabilities, and Cognitive Disabilities.
    • The caseload size is still to be determined, but it will be a smaller caseload size since these students will have a greater need for minutes.
    • SLP will mostly utilize the push-in delivery model here.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
    • Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
