Responsibilities
- Work with a team to design and develop distribution and substation projects, including MV/LV transformers, switchgear, protection & control schemes, and service connections.
- Conduct power system modeling studies in ETAP or CYME.
- Select equipment such as poles conductors transformers switchgear protective devices install relay settings development implementation using tools like SEL AcSELerator GE Enervista ASPEN equivalent troubleshoot relay SCADA recloser issues working closely field teams provide technical support BESS design integration work vendors construction crews ensure proper procurement installation coordinate drafting resources complete construction packages one-line diagrams plan profile drawings detailed specifications collaborate multidisciplinary teams civil engineers project success assist mentoring junior engineers knowledge-sharing within team.
