    Job Title: Endocrinologist

    About the Role:

    The Endocrinologist provides high-quality clinical care to patients, taking a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach that considers the psychosocial aspects of health and disease.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provides direct trans-related medical care (hormone therapy) and primary care to trans-identified patients.
    • C coordinates evaluations and referrals for trans individuals to appropriate clinical services.
    • Maintains high standards of clinical care, utilizing diagnostic testing effectively and providing suitable treatment.
    • Considers psychosocial factors in both health and disease.

    Requirements:

    • M.D. or D.O. in a primary care specialty with completion of an accredited residency training program.
    • Board Certification/Eligibility.
    • Appropriate Maryland licensure and clinical certification, DEA, and Maryland CDS, X license.
    • Experience in LGBT healthcare, including trans-specific care and HIV.
    • Expertise in trans care preferred.
