    Position Overview:

    Thuasne is a mid-cap medical device company, manufacturing class I and class II devices, committed to providing high-quality products that enhance patient mobility, function, and quality of life.

    The Plant Manager position provides overall direction to the Hamlet plant with responsibilities for all production processes and operations while working with & providing guidance to department managers.

    The position also collaborates closely with managers and directors in Quality, R&D, Commercial Sales, Product Management and Supply Chain.

    This individual must be an energetic and forward thinker that is able to communicate Corporate Organizational Goals, Strategy and Corporate Culture to team members, providing mentoring and creating buy-in within the organization at all levels.


    Duties/Responsibilities:


    Effectively manage, mentor and delegate to the plant management team initiatives to successfully process production to meet throughput and fulfillment expectationsResponsible for building and maintaining a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism, demonstrating active support of the Company's culture, values, and policiesEstablish KPI's that align with Corporate Organizational Goals and Strategies into measurable production results, while being able to effectively communicate such objectives and results to the North Carolina team.

    Responsibilities include all departments at the plant, including production, safety, planning & scheduling, with close collaboration with Quality, R&D and Supply Chain daily and other departments, as required.

    Through mentoring, leadership and example, help create a culture of Continuous Improvement through the training, use and implementation of Lean Methodologies, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban's, Root Cause Analysis and Six SigmaResponsible for establishing the capital and expense budgets for the plant, managing them, cost controls and resources, while working with Company management and adapting as revenue and requirements change.

    While working with Quality and Regulatory, support the Company's ISO 13485 registration and overall Quality system while actively participating and supporting the ISO process and all FDA requirements.

    Develop supplier relationships while meeting with them, as necessary, and continuously managing costs and seeking innovative ideas.
    Be an active participant in the Sales and Operations (S&OP) process.

    Bachelor's Degree in Textiles, Engineering, Business, or similar technical field required7+ years professional management experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably textilesSix Sigma preferredProficient in MS Office, ERP experience preferredISO 9001, 13485 or similar experience in a cGMP manufacturing facility, preferredProven results-based leadership skills with the ability to manage & develop employeesEffective communication skills, both written & verbalProficient in lean methodologies including problem solving and root cause analysisOrganizational, planning and time management skillsExcellent problem-solving skills
