As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Schertz, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and support security-related operations with professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery paperwork, issuing visitor badges, and directing traffic flow in a professional manner.

Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer activity by reviewing bills of lading and/or seal information as required by site procedures, and documenting irregularities for follow-up.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the warehouse, dock areas, and perimeter as assigned, noting and reporting maintenance concerns, unsecured doors, and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
