- Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.
- Educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits, while fostering a supportive and compassionate environment.

Through in-person and virtually-enhanced education and support, we will help you develop your critical thinking and evidence based decision-making skills, engagement, stress management capabilities, and leadership skills.
Our new nurse residency program accelerates nursing competency by providing in-depth experiences, education, and support during your first year.A competency-based curriculum coupled with trained preceptors and active mentorship capitalizes on American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Accreditation design and innovative, contemporary, and evidence-based practices.

Virtually Integrated CareSM(VICSM) is a transformational model of care delivery that seamlessly integrates a virtual nurse as part of the interprofessional team.
With the VICSM program, our virtual RNs support bedside staff with time-consuming care activities; such as charting, discharges, admissions, care coordination, and patient education and more.
Through this model our patients experience an unparalleled quality of care. Equally as important, our beside nurses gain support, mentorship, and guidance from an experienced virtual nurse.Responsibilities
Our Med Surg Trauma department is not your typical Med Surg. Our nurses treat more patients that are admitted from our ER than from any other department.
You will be caring for patients with a broad spectrum of needs including those with traumatic injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
