Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an LVN or Medical Assistant Administrator Manager Trainee, where your energy and dedication will directly impact patient care and operational excellence. This paid trainee position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills while gaining comprehensive experience in medical office management, patient assessment, and clinical procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily clinic and surgery center operations, including patient intake, scheduling, and documentation.
- Support clinical staff with patient assessments, vital signs, and basic medical procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and catheter care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs based on acuity levels, including urgent care and emergency room scenarios.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers by managing medical documentation, discharge planning, and follow-up instructions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Valid LVN license or Medical Assistant certification with relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in medical offices, hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or similar healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology knowledge, vital signs assessment, and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; compassionate approach essential.
- Additional skills in pain management protocols, infectious disease care, home & community care experience, or experience in surgery center are highly valued.
