Service Technician – United States DISHER is currently partnering with a leading company providing plastic corrugate pipe solutions. The company is based out of Europe and is quickly growing. It has a great reputation globally and focuses on optimizing its processes to create innovative and world-changing products. The company serves customers all over the world, but its main market is the U.S. where it has a service hub in Kentucky.What it's like to work here: This company has a team-oriented work atmosphere and a flat hierarchy with short decision-making processes. It offers many opportunities for self-realization and professional growth. As a service technician, you're trusted to troubleshoot and maintain equipment mainly in North America. It is important that you're able to work independently and communicate efficiently with different stakeholders.
What you'll get to do:
- Carry out service assignments worldwide (focus: North America and Canada) for maintenance and inspection of the machines supplied.
- Carry out service assignments worldwide (focus: North America and Canada) to process service contracts.
- Carry out customer training and troubleshooting.
- Install extrusion and corrugated pipe systems (also in connection with system components and downstream equipment from suppliers).
- Commission extrusion and corrugator pipe systems through to acceptance by our customers in the USA and Canada.
- Execute and evaluate test runs including documentation.
What will make you successful:
- Technical vocational training either in mechanics, electrics, mechatronics or similar.
- Understanding mechanical drawings.
- Driving license.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
- Willing to travel >50% of the time.
- Good computer skills (all MS Office applications).
- Confident demeanor when working with constantly changing groups of people.
- Good organizational skills in order to be able to structure the necessary work processes effectively and in a goal-oriented manner.
