    AI/ML Research Engineer

    Exciting opportunity to join the R&D Team at a top-notch company in this newly created position and team Comprehensive benefits include a bonus, 401k match, & continuing education budget.

    This is a direct hire position.

    You can live anywhere in the US and work 100% remotely as long as you can start at 8:30 AM CST.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Translate AI/ML research into deployable, scalable software solutions that advance our operational efficiency and market presence.
    • Implement and optimize AI/ML models for production, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability using MLOps principles.
    • Collaborate with the software development team to integrate AI solutions into existing and new product lines.
    • Connecting the dots between a variety of software and tools.
    • Stay abreast of AI/ML deployment technology advancements, especially in Azure cloud environments.
    • Work closely with the AI/ML Research Scientist and Data Scientist to translate research findings into deployable features.
    • Ensure that AI/ML implementations are robust, secure, and compliant with industry regulations.
    • Be a core contributor to researching ideas to expand the companys AI-driven product lines.
    • Lead the technical aspects of AI/ML product development, from initial design to deployment and ongoing support.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Computation, etc.
    • 3+ years in AI/ML engineering, especially roles focusing on Azure MLOps
    • Experience in implementing and optimizing AI/ML models for production, and ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
    • Proficiency in Python
    • ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
    • Extensive Azure experience
    • Familiarity with software development practices, CI/CD, and scalable Azure architecture.
    • Implementation of robust, secure, compliant AI/ML solutions according to industry regulations
    • Consultative personality
    • Driven and proactive thinker
    • Must be able to start work at 8:30 AM CST daily

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Insurance industry experience
