Job Title: Part-Time Veterinary Lab Assistant, CVM

About the Job

The Part Time Employee will assist in veterinary laboratories, support DeBusk Veterinary Teaching Center general functions, and aid clinical education and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large.
• Maintain proper security for all University files and information, following privacy procedures at all times.
• Contribute to effective and safe veterinary equipment preparation, utilization, and maintenance.
• Treat all animals humanely, properly, and with compassion at all times.
• Participate in preparation for specific courses as instructed by the course coordinator.

Requirements:

• Affection for animals, concern for their welfare, and a willingness to accommodate animals in the work place.
• Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators, and educational institution representatives in a professional manner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or bachelor degree in veterinary technology or related field (preferred).

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $30,000 - 40,000 per year.
