    Maintenance Tech II
    2nd shift / Mon–Thu / 4pm – 2:30am
    $25 - $29/hour

    based on experience / direct hire

    PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable maintenance technician on behalf of our client in Easley, SC.
    We are looking for individuals who has prior PLC troubleshooting experience and the ability to obtain a master electrician license.

    Maintenance Tech II responsibilities include:

    • Performs assigned preventative maintenance schedules
    • Repairs, maintains, replaces, installs, and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic valves, pumps and cylinders
    • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic valves and cylinders
    • Gathers information, materials, and documents machine downtime
    • Performs uptime improvement action items for assigned production equipment
    • Maintains & monitors amp PM completion ratio
    • Work with production supervisors and operators to increase understanding of equipment operation to prevent equipment downtime

    Maintenance Tech II requirements include:

    • A 2-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience - A minimum of 5 years of related experience
    • Must have prior PLC Troubleshooting experience and able to make adjustments to the program in conjunction with engineering requests
    • Mechatronics experience (desired)
    • Ability to work overtime to support production needs
    • Knowledgeable with 480v 3-phase and 110v
    • Ability to understand technical problems of a complex nature
    • Ability to complete OSHA 10-Hour Training
    • Ability to obtain a Master Electrician License
    • Proficient computer skills in all applications
    • Physical requirements essential to perform the job including frequently walking, kneeling, and standing on concrete floor; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs; occasionally in sitting position to perform duties at desk and on computer
    • Frequently communicates with employees, customers and suppliers to understand their requests
