    Now Hiring: CNC Machinist (1st Shift) - Direct Hire

    Location: Irvine, CA

    Position Type: Direct Hire at Client Location

    Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

    Immediate Openings - CNC Experience Required

    Position Summary

    We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists to join a leading manufacturing team in Irvine, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity with immediate openings on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and setting up CNC and conventional machining centers for high-precision components. This role requires independent work, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Set up and operate multiple CNC and conventional machines for complex production runs.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, planning sheets, and verbal instructions.
    • Perform advanced setups, including multi-station workpieces and custom fixturing.
    • Ensure components meet tight tolerances and surface finish specifications.
    • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM, etc.) to inspect parts.
    • Collaborate with engineering to resolve design or process-related issues.
    • Maintain machinery, perform routine maintenance, and ensure a clean work environment.
    • Implement lean manufacturing practices and contribute to process improvements.
    • Train and mentor less experienced machinists as needed.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum 5 years of machining experience in a high-tech or precision manufacturing environment.
    • Strong CNC machining skills, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints, interpreting complex drawings, and understanding GD&T.
    • Skilled in the use of inspection and measuring tools.
    • Solid understanding of shop math, including trigonometry.
    • Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methods.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
