Job summary
This position is open until filled.The Fire Engineer serves as a part time Firefighter and/or Fire Engineer with Vance County Fire Department working at the main station and/or sub-station as assigned.Responds to alarms and participates in incidence response including firefighting operations,driving and operation of fire apparatus including pumpers,
aerial apparatus and other equipment as required;
- Responds to emergency medical incidents
and provides EMT Basic services; - Drives apparatus to incident scene;
nears properly places apparatus
to establish water supply or other needs; - Maintains equipment condition.
