    Celerity Consulting Group has openings for an Engineering Consultant I.

    This position is ideal for an entry-level Engineer looking to start their career in the consulting industry assisting Fortune 500 companies.

    This role may require driving to and working at client sites. Candidates in the Los Angeles, CA area will be prioritized.

    Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
    Review existing documentation for key information and specificationsAnalyze data using appropriate quantitative methodsReview and verify tabular and spatial data against design or completion drawings for accuracy and consistencyProvide client with necessary documentation and reportsUpdate and inform project coordinator with relevant project status and informationPerform engineering design and calculations, with minimal supervisionReview construction documents and reportMonitor and ensure maintenance of tracking logs and all project coordination tools to include project status, challenges, estimated project end date, and project completionThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field and/or relevant work experienceExperience with reading and understanding general engineering documents, including drawings and specificationsAbility to work or travel to client sitesProficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook)

    Highly organized, deadline driven, and detail orientedFlexible, analytical, and willing to tackle challenging workAbility to work independently and collaboratively in an open environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills (able to present technical matters in a clear and concise manner)Experience in the Gas & Utility Industry is a plusPhysical requirements:

    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeThe person in this position frequently communicates with staff/clients who have inquiries.
