Job summary
The Collections Specialist is responsible for the resolution of accounts placed into collections. The work involves performing inbound and outbound collection calls to collect on outstanding balances, assisting in increasing internal collection efforts while reducing third party collection agency expenses, maintaining collection queue/portfolio to minimize the risk of bad debt exposure to Markel, collaborating with internal customers to effectively handle disputes and other questions from external customers.Responsibilities
