General Cardiology Opportunity in the Sierra Foothills - Shareholder Track

Picture a Northern California mountain location within 1 hour of Lake Tahoe and 40 minutes of a major metropolitan area, without the traffic congestion. We seek a General Cardiologist to join our team at Mercy Medical Group, offering excellent non- or limited-invasive, non-interventional general cardiology care to adult patients in our outpatient clinic and at our community hospital.

The ideal candidate will provide general cardiology care 3-4 days per week in our outpatient cardiology clinic, implant pacemakers and loop recorders, perform Cardioversion, read echoes, Holter monitors, stress tests, and EKGs. They will also participate in a 1:4 shared hospital call, collaborating with the hospital's impressive Cardiac Rehab program and staff.

Responsibilities include patient care, communication, documentation, diagnostic procedures, team collaboration, quality improvement, compliance, and continuous learning. The qualified candidate will possess a valid and unrestricted California medical license, board eligibility or certification in cardiology, and completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
