    Accounts Payable Specialist

    Overview:
    Our ideal candidate is an independent achiever.

    This primarily consists of processing invoices, printing checks, tracking lien releases and maintaining open communication with vendors regarding their payments.

    This candidate is deadline-driven and exhibits strong multitasking abilities. He or she must be a team player.


    Essential Duties:
    Maintain the Utility Files
    Profile Invoices in Document Locator
    Review

    Duplicate/Declined/Issues

    Invoices in Document Locator
    Review Invoices that haven's been approved
    Maintain Preliminary Notices from Subcontractors
    Match PO's to Invoices and manually enter PO Invoices
    Work with Vendors and Purchasing on problems
    Generate Auto Pay payments
    Process Manual and Auto Pay Payments
    Send Notices to Subcontractors to obtain Conditional and Unconditional Lien Releases
    Match Lien Releases with payments
    Manage AP cutoff days for Northern and Southern Cal projects
    Check runs for multiples divisions (Currently in Colorado and California)

    Education and Additional Requirements:
    Moderate excel experience
    Ideally 2-3 years AP experience in the construction industry
    Ability to work in face pace environment
    Problem solving skills
    Team Player
    Able to meet deadlines
