- Provide family therapy services to clients and families with MassHealth and Commercial insurance policies needing more intensive support than traditional individual therapy provides.
- Work with the entire family, or a subset of the family, to implement focused interventions and behavioral techniques: enhance communication and problem-solving, build skills to strengthen the family, advance therapeutic goals, improve ineffective patterns of interaction, identify and utilize community resources, and develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent/caregiver(s) to promote sustained treatment gains. Practice limit-setting, and conduct risk management/safety planning
- Lead clinical intake meetings, focusing on goal setting, engagement and gathering history
- Provide ongoing interventions to support stabilization of child and family
- Consult with team members
- Complete ongoing documentation requirements
- Highly competitive hourly rates (compensation increases based on caseload size, fluency in a second language, and tenure with agency)
- No requirement to come to an office - focus on delivering care to your clients.
- Flexible schedules: part time or full-time case loads available
- Paid weekly supervision required, counts towards licensure
- Master's Degree required for Lead Clinician (authorized degrees include: Counseling, Education with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling/Expressive Arts, Expressive Therapies, Psychology, and Social Work)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children
