As the crossover equity financial analyst, you will play a pivotal role in steering our public market and late-stage private market strategy.
Reporting directly to the Head of Investments for the Family Office, you will leverage your expertise in the public markets to identify existing public companies and pre-IPO opportunities with a focus on the consumer / consumer tech sectors.
Job Description:
Building and maintaining detailed company modelsConducting industry and company-specific research – performing channel checks and diligence on specific stocks and industries as directed by the teamAttending conferences and industry eventsMonitor portfolio holdings and market developments, providing timely updates and actionable insights to optimize investment decisionsCollaborate with team members to assess and execute crossover investment opportunities, including private investments in public equity (PIPEs), pre-IPO investments, and other alternative investmentsBuilding relationships with the relevant sell side analysts, salespeople, and research associatesEnsuring the accuracy and quality of all of your recommendation materialsSupporting fundamental research into companies, industries, and sub-sectorsReporting on topics such as general economic and industry-specific developments and trendsAssisting your team in innovating and creating unique investment strategiesQualifications:
Superior analytical, quantitative, and technical skillsStrong academic background, preferably in finance or accounting3+ years of relevant experience in public equities, hedge fund, family office, investment bankingHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailHigh character & strong representation of the Family Office brand in offsite meetings / conferencesStrong judgement and decision-making skillsAbility to manage and effectively present informationStrong business writing and communication skillsBachelor's degreefrom top tier institution
