    Description

    Job Title:

    Operates equipment to dig holes and trenches, removes and transports earth, gravel and other materials, and lays and pulls pipe in water well construction and maintenance.

    About the Role:

    • Controls hydraulic shovel with hand and foot levers.
    • Digs trenches and holes of specified length, depth and width, removes loosened material and transports it by truck or puts it in piles.
    • Lays and pulls water well pipe.
    • Performs routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Proper certification is necessary.
    • Appropriate training and experience are required.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch regularly.
    • Must be able to use hands, arms, and legs fully.
    • Must have good eyesight (either naturally or with correction).
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, with objects weighing up to 25 pounds carried frequently.
