Mid America Health is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our OH team Mid America Health is hiring a Full Time, 40 hours per week, Expanded Function Dental Assistant to work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, at the London Correctional Institution and Madison Correctional Institution in London, OH. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers competitive compensation of $29 per hour and full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and health savings account are available. Full Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Job Duties:
Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. This position will also include placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings, application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents, and provision of oral hygiene instructions. No ortho or crown & bridge with very limited endo required. Administrative duties are also required, and you will be trained in these areas.
