    Hastings College:
    Graduate Assistant - Strength & Conditioning

    Graduate Assistant positions include a tuition waiver, a $5,000 yearly stipend, and potential on-campus housing free of charge.

    We are looking to add up to 3 Graduate Assistants to our program for


    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing and maintaining a highly competitive intercollegiate program within rules and regulations of the institution, the GPAC and NAIA.
    • Cultivate and track long-term athletic development of assigned athletic teams including: strength, power, and mitigating injuries.
    • Must be actively studying for the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) test through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and have a test date scheduled until completed.
    • Complete daily operational tasks specified with your position on the Sports Performance staff (i.e. internship, open hours, social media, maintenance, etc.).
    • Be CPR/AED/First-Aid certified through the American Red Cross
    • Work cooperatively with faculty members, admission, alumni, and development office personnel, the sports information director, all student support services, and all athletic department personnel.
    Education & Experience

    Bachelor's degree required. Admittance into the Hastings College Masters of Teaching Program is also required. Passing the Praxis test is considered the qualification for admission into the MAT program.
