    Tolin Mechanical Systems Company (Tolin) was the first HVAC company acquired by Service Logic in 2004. Tolin was originally established in 1948 in Denver, Colorado and including Denver also has 3 other offices in Colorado [Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Silverthorne], 2 offices in Arizona [Phoenix, Tucson] and an office in the Mid-Atlantic region. Tolin's annual sales exceed $90 million and Tolin has approximately 350 employees.

    Tolin is proud of the customer-centric team we have built over the years, made up of the most talented engineers, HVAC technicians, sales professionals, operations personnel and our highly qualified financial and administrative team. We provide centralized corporate services to all locations from our corporate headquarters in Denver, CO.

    General Description:

    Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Material Handler to join our Phoenix Branch. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

    This position requires someone who is self-motivated, professional, and a solid team player. The Material Handlers are responsible for performing tasks that support the logistics team and support the technicians in the field. Excellent communication skills, a hard-working attitude, and ability to follow and demonstrate safe practices are essential to success in this role.

    Responsibilities for Material Handler
    • Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials and equipment
    • Status reporting on all matters affecting service operations
    • Use of assistive devices such as hoists and lifts
    • Use of protective devices such as padding, and straps
    • Ensuring a safe work environment
    • Operation of company vehicles to deliver materials to other branches
    • Securing building before and after business hours
    • Supporting logistics team with other tasks as needed
    • Internal relations and collaboration with other teams
    Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
    • 1 + years of experience in a similar role
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and long-distance driving in the mountains
    • Excellent coordination and collaboration skills
    • Values and displays exceptional customer service
    • Strong organization skills
    • Experience in HVAC, construction, engineering, or related industry
    • Experience and demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal departments, vendors, and customers
    • Valid Driver's License with driving record in good standing
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Over 18 years of age
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
    • Strong written and verbal English skills
    • Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
    Compensation & Benefits:

    Average Starting Wage: $18-$22/hr. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
