    Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Hospital Assistant to join our team.

    As a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital located in the heart of Hollywood, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

    The Hospital Assistant will be responsible for assisting our veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care, as well as performing various tasks to ensure the hospital runs smoothly.

    They will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and ensuring that our hospital is a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.


    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care, including handling and restraining animals for treatments and procedures
    • Cleaning and maintaining patient areas, including cages, kennels, and treatment rooms
    • Feeding and walking patients as needed
    • Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies
    • Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
    • Ensuring that the hospital is clean and tidy at all times
    • Assisting with other tasks as needed Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience working with animals preferred
    • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment

    • The base hourly range for this position is $22 - $30. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
