- Graduate of accredited US School of Medicine; MD or DO
- BC / BE (Family Medicine)
- Current unrestricted New Mexico license
- Current DEA Certificate
- BLS
- Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients in order to meet their needs
- Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients
- Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
- Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments
- Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care
- Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients
- Orders studies, test, and ancillary services
- Documents all services in patient electronic medical record
- Reviews on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attention
- Consults with Physician Lead, Director of Medicine, and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and educational issues
- Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by On-Site
- Assists as needed in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
- Assists in the development, production, and presentation of medical education, material, lectures, and mixed media presentations for patient and medical staff
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
- May be assigned to multiple clinic sites as mutually agreed upon with CMO and Director of Medicine
- May require on-call responsibilities
- Current license to practice in state of clinic location (New Mexico)
- BE or BC (Family Medicine)
- DEA
- BLS
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette
- Performs in a tactful and professional manner
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; talk; and hear
- The team member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch

Our on-site clinics offer a new level of workplace wellness, delivering the best-in-class care to patients, in an environment that allows our physicians and nurses to spend the time needed to facilitate better clinical outcomes.
We are actively seeking a Family Medicine Physician on a PRN ("as needed") basis for our clinic located in Albuquerque, NM.
Will care for a pediatric and adult patient population in a value-based care model; 30 min appointment times, shifts would be between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, no late clinics, no after-hours charting.
