This requisition is for a Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) position at ADP, serving as the FTCE Lead of a Program, as part of the Test Operations Team in Palmdale California
This position will work alongside military, contractor, and civil service personnel as members of the flight test team
Provide Program Leadership with communication and status of platform readiness and maintenance issues
Act as liaison between Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Test Operations group leads, modification team, and other FTCE's in coordinating scheduled events
This position could be tasked to represent test program leadership in meetings.
Duties and responsibilities also include coordinating with other organizations associated with test readiness
The applicant must be able to effectively communicate, direct, and interact with other test team members, as well as external members to achieve mission success
You will be expected to train and mentor less experienced team members
The FTCE is also the primary liaison between aircraft maintenance and engineering, communicating aircraft test configuration to responsible engineers and flight operations
You will be responsible for maintaining configuration of a myriad of items, from test equipment, software, hardware, all items necessary for a successful test evolution
Overtime, non-standard shifts, and weekend work will be required
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400
