Job summary
The participant will have the opportunity to engage in a research project aimed at identifying the sources of the solar wind in the solar atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and analyzing extreme ultraviolet (EUV) and far ultraviolet (FUV) spectra from space-based instruments such as Hinode/EIS, IRIS, and Solar Orbiter/SPICE, supplemented with contextual observations including magnetograms and EUV images.
- Measuring plasma composition (elemental abundances), as these abundances are believed to remain largely unchanged from the corona into the solar wind.
