    Job Summary:


    Reporting within the Corporate Center Risk and Control function, the Operational Risk Analyst / AVP will be responsible for documenting process flows, performing risk assessments, supporting issue management, documenting operational loss events, metric reporting, and supporting third party management processes.

    The role includes supporting the execution of the Risk Control Self-Assessment framework and Issue Management related processes.

    The successful candidate will have a keen interest in learning about risk and various disciplines and be able to work independently as well as with others at various levels within the organization to properly ensure risk assessments are completed on time and meet the Bank's quality standards.


    Main Responsibilities:
    Document critical business process flowsSupport Business Unit and Division Risk Managers in execution of Risk Control Self Assessments in the Bank's GRC toolAssist with the issue management process, including documenting Issue Descriptions, Action Plans, and issue validationPerform data analysis and reporting related to key risk metricsSupport the Control Testing Office as neededProvide accurate and timely operational risk reportingAssist with operational loss events and determining root cause analysisAssist with other risk assessment requests from second line risk management groups such as Third-Party RiskQualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required3 plus years of experience in the financial services industry in risk management or internal audit environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated professional with understanding of key risk conceptsAbility to produce high quality process documentation with quick turnaround timesStrong attention to detailExceptional organizational skillsFamiliarity with Risk Management Frameworks and ProcessesStrong work ethic, ability to work independently to drive results, while contributing to a teamAbility to build relationships with people at all levelsProficient with the following technology tools: Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TEAMS and Visio)Experience with GRC Tools

    The typical base pay range for this role is between $80K - $100K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
