- Assist attorneys with all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trial matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis using various resources, including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Organize and maintain case files, including pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and deposition summaries.
- Coordinate document production and manage electronic discovery databases.
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and rules, including federal and state court rules.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency with litigation support software, including document management and electronic discovery platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
