Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ocean Export Coordinator to join our logistics team in Erlanger, KY. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing international ocean export shipments in compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
In this role you will coordinate and manage full-cycle ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery. You will prepare shipping documentation including commercial invoices bills of lading certificates of origin AES filings communicate with steamship lines freight forwarders truckers warehouses customers ensure timely shipment execution monitor status resolve delays maintain accurate data entry transportation management ERP systems provide excellent service through clear communication issue resolution collaborate internal departments sales warehouse compliance support operational goals track KPIs assist reporting informed changes international shipping regulations industry best practices.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills excellent written verbal communication abilities solid understanding international trade documentation procedures experience ocean export operations or related field knowledge INCOTERMS experience transportation management systems platforms excel written verbal communication skills attention detail organizational skills ability prioritize tasks work fast-paced environment proficient Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word Outlook.
