- Provide product and industry training to all Sales and Sales support teams.
- Create, lead, and provide excipient technical product and application training for internal and external teams.
- Assist with Supplier/Customer contract negotiations.
- Support all aspects of developing business opportunities, targets, and prospecting.
- Participate in tradeshows (national & local), industry conferences/meetings, website info, and literature development.
- Assist customers with application/formulation support.
- Develop new excipient opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry primarily working with the customer's R&D and business development teams.
- Coordinate supplier meetings with key/target customers.
- Assist in Business Development, developing technical proposals, and generating product/service application solutions.
- Identify new service/product opportunities by supervising market changes and customer needs.
- Manage communication with supplier technical recourses.
- Collaborates on products and service solutions.
- Assist with new product launches.
- Assist in the qualifications of potential new suppliers/products.
- Bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Pharmacokinetics, or Life Sciences preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge in pharmaceutical formulations and applications.
- In depth understanding of the pharmaceutical product life cycle and drug development cycle.
- Demonstrated experience with a passion for monitoring industry emerging trends.
- Must be able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and leverage strong working relationships internally and externally across a diverse stakeholder network.
- Effective self starter with an affinity to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
- Excellent ability to understand, analyze and communicate complex scientific and technical information.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience and ease in navigating regulated markets.
