    Overview:

    Establish, implement and maintain the processes of the quality management system for the Company.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop, administer and/or update the Quality manual and procedures, processes and objectives.
    • Compile and monitor the departmental budget.
    • Compile and conduct the quality program training.
    • Conduct and monitor quality audits.
    • Report to top management on the quality systems performance and make recommendations for needed improvements.
    • Promotes awareness of the customer quality requirements within the organization.
    • Quality point of contact for outside organizations, including customers and third parties.
    • Compliance with the company Safety program policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable under the employers insurance policy.
    • Work with HR Managers from sister companies to find and develop mutual policies.
    • Perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management.
    Qualifications:
    • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 1+ years of experience in airline/airport maintenance activities
    • Basic knowledge of a managing a quality program

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors Degree plus 3 years applicable work experience.
    • ASQ Lead auditor qualification
    • ASQ Quality manager qualification
    • 8+ years experience managing a quality program.
    • Advanced knowledge of airline/airport maintenance activities.

    • Ability to influence and persuade employees of all levels.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate to interpret and explain written and regulatory compliance to all levels of employees.
    • Attention to detail a must.
    • Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

    Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office to include Word, Excel and Power Point

    Certificates & Licenses: ASQ Lead auditor qualification and ASQ Quality manager qualification preferred

    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
