    Job Description

    Evaluate costs and constructability issues when preparing electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects.

    • Experience in business development to maintain current relationships and establish new ones
    • Ability to provide accurate cost estimates, detailed project scope descriptions, and realistic timelines
    • Skill in developing initial budgets and estimates even without engineering drawings
    • Coordinate and supervise customer projects, ensuring a smooth project initiation
    • Assess and communicate project risks effectively
    • Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with the company's goals
    • Familiarity with electrical estimating software like Accubid, automated takeoff software such as Live Count, and Bluebeam
    • Proficient in electrical codes (NEC & WAC) and conducting load calculations

    Ideal candidates are expected to:

    • Enhance existing knowledge in building and electrical systems
    • Possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical or construction-related fields or equivalent practical experience
    • Have hands-on experience in electrical estimating
    • Previous estimating background allowing for career advancement

    Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license
    • Reliable means of transportation
    • Ability to clear a background check
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S.

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Estimating (Preferred)
    • At least 1 year of experience with Auto Takeoff (Preferred)
