JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Notes:
This is a contract only position but with preference for local candidates.
The team does meet regularly on Wednesdays and the hiring manager does want the candidate to adhere to the on-site standard of two days per week.
This role will be partnering with the hiring manager, one other LoP, and a SME for majority of the work, there will not be a dedicated team.
Therefore, the expectation is that they will make recommendations but also execute and write the communications.Communication Preference:
One discovery call and email follow-ups.
Job Summary
Change and Communications Consultant
Supporting annual Goals & Plans process and client Portfolio Management maturity
Hybrid, commutable to St. Paul, MN campus preferred (remote will be considered)
Responsibilities:
Lead Strategy, Execution, Content Creation and Delivery [in partnership with SMEs] of:
Communication
Engagement
Learning/Training
Leader support needs
Adoption measures
Develop messages, emails, slide decks, and other material for leadership and associate engagement and communication
Examples include:
Kickoff email and meeting materials for leadership, CFOs, budget coordinators, strategy leads, etc. who support Goals & Plans process
Communications for specific process milestones e.g. expectations for Goals & Plans meetings, what's next in the process, key decisions made to be shared with the broader audience
All associate 'awareness communications via internal website
Funding approval emails with accountability expectations (e.g., stage gates)
Managing change and communications related timelines
Scope of Annual Planning Process and workstreams:
Goals & Plans financials (sales, revenue and expense projections) 2025 Budget
Portfolio Management, including business cases for prioritization Sequencing of market growth areas
Expense management guidance
Outcomes:
All aspects of change management are actively managed for successful implementation.
All stakeholders understand the annual planning process, how it will impact them, what their role is, how to use the tools, and what to expect next.
Leaders and change champions are enabled to provide communications and support to drive adoption.Communications are well coordinated with enterprise messages.
