Practical Nurse Specialist (LPN) - Telemetry
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Available

Our facility encompasses a 355-bed acute care hospital, featuring a 32-bed Emergency Department, a 29-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, a 15-bed Surgical Suite, and comprehensive Imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient needs. Additionally, our South Campus houses an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.

Position Overview:
Under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse, the Practical Nurse Specialist provides direct patient care in alignment with established standards and practices.
In collaboration with an RN, you will assist in patient assessments by gathering relevant data for further analysis.
Your responsibilities will include executing care plans, performing specimen collection, and managing wound care.
You may also be responsible for administering medications as required.
Documentation of patient care activities is essential.
Support the RN in developing individualized care plans.
Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and mobility.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with the RN, physicians, patients, and their families.
Act as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Skills:
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently are essential.
Must be capable of functioning effectively in a high-pressure environment and taking appropriate actions.
