- Develop electrified drivetrain controls and requirements definition for various equipment.
- Design, validate, and debug control strategies of GSE.
- Systems engineering responsibilities between electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and other systems.
- Specify battery and charging system requirements based on top-level vehicle requirements.
- Interpret, modify and develop vehicle electrical schematics.
- Define interfaces needed between controllers.
- Determine root cause and define solutions for field issues in electrical and software systems.
- Support developing requirements such as resources, equipment, estimates, test plans, and milestones according to the needs of a project.
- Bachelors degree in Systems, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
- Automotive or heavy-duty vehicle background with vehicle control system experiences preferred.
- Work experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle CAN bus and architecture preferred.
- Experience with documenting cable routing in CAD.
- Familiar with unit, functional, and regression testing.
- Exposure to CODESYS Structured Text or similar programming language.
- Experience with high-voltage safety a plus.
