Actalent is looking for a full time Medical Biller to work for a hospital in Oxnard, working M-F , making $25-$27/hr. Must be bilingual with at least 3 years experience.

Description:

Interview: Billing and coding exam - multiple choice. Simple questions to see where you are at as far as an interview goes. Given coding book and asked how you would code it - CPT codes, diagnosis codes.

Team environment: very independent, have their own responsibilities, element of customer service since they're working with the patients

Performance metrics: self-paced. You have assigned workload and work within their buckets. This depends on doctors that they're assigned to.

Workload : depends on the experience, want to revamp, make this person focus on collections, do a little bit of everything.

Training process: 3-months of training before they are hands-on, trained by the lead biller

Skills:

EMR systems (Allscripts), Coding, Billing, 3 years of experience Bilingual in Spanish
