    Description
    A Client/Employer in Stanton, TN is looking for Industrial Hygienists.

    This individual's daily responsibilities will include:

    managing programs related to the anticipation, evaluation and control of exposures to chemicals and physical agents in the work environment.

    The Industrial Hygienists will conduct comprehensive industrial hygiene risk assessments to identify employee exposures to potentially hazardous chemicals, physical agents, and processes.

    In cases where exposures are not acceptable, this individual will investigate and provide recommendations for controls. This individual will be responsible for then communicating information/requirements to BOSK leadership and management teams.


    Other Responsibilities/expectations will be:

    • Interprets results of evaluations, report conclusions, and evaluate effectiveness of control measures.
    • Develops written standards and training materials for topics related to industrial hygiene.
    • Communicates information/requirements to BOSK leadership and management teams
    • Provides subject matter expertise to support compliance with BOSK Health and Safety standards
    • Provides leadership to resolve IH-related issues and employee concerns in collaboration with manufacturing teams
    • Analyzes data and present results in easily understood format

    Required Skills & Experience


    • Bachelor's Degree in industrial hygiene, toxicology, or relevant scientific discipline
    * 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Hygienist in a manufacturing or automotive environment


    • Understanding of toxicology, chemical exposure hazards, noise, lasers, and radiation
    • Proficient knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
    • Ability to anticipate, identify, assess, evaluate and control hazards associated with physical and chemical agents in the workplace
    • Experience with medical surveillance and related programs including respirator medical clearance, audiometry and substance-specific examinations
    • Understanding of engineering controls, including ventilation
    • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Highly developed teamwork, communication, organizational skills
    • Demonstrated collaboration skills to work effectively with salaried and hourly personnel and build relationships with stakeholders
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Occasional travel as needed to support the business and collaboration with other vested partners
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience


    • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential
    • Master's Degree in industrial hygiene or a related science
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Project management skills and experience
    • Expertise in assessment and control of ergonomic hazards


    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
