Job summary
We are seeking a Prep Cooks Line Cooks Dishwashers to join our team at Tatte Bakery & Cafe.We expect our savory team members to:
• Have a desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
• Possess a passion for cooking with a keen eye for freshness quality and cleanliness
• Live from Tatte's core values and help Tatte deliver on its mission
- Possess flexibility to work variety of shifts including weekends holidays afternoons/evenings
- Ideally team members also have at least year of experience successfully working in fast-paced kitchen
Skill required
,- Cooking skills follow prep lists created by chefs Label stock all cooking ingredients Complete all tasks in order on the prep list from Head Chef or other kitchen manager Washing chopping sorting ingredients like fruits vegetables meats Measuring quantities of seasonings other cooking ingredients Adhere nutrition sanitary regulations standards Keeping track ingredient inventory collaborating kitchen management staff order resupply Learn about cooking methods techniques employed kitchen Ensuring food items properly stored easily accessible Supervising food cooling room temperatures Maintaining clean orderly sanitized kitchen Assisting chefs preparing attending culinary tasks arise Other related assignments necessary ,execute techniques under direction Sous Chef Executive Chef Prepare cook food according recipes quality presentation standards Prepare ingredients portioning chopping weighing measuring mixing Ensure correctness temperature appliances food Actively set up break down workstation prepare upcoming shift Wash disinfect kitchen tables tools knives equipment Follow company safety security policies procedures Ensure adherence quality expectations standards Assist chefs preparing attending culinary tasks arise Other duties assigned ,Responsible proper care maintenance dish machine Must keep clean supply dishware glassware silverware adequate utensils cookware throughout shift Must thrive fastpaced environment adhering cleanliness sanitation standards entire kitchen dish area Other duties assigned Strong communication skills Ability work fastpaced environment Able grasp reach overhead Must able lift move carry lbs Must able work hours day feet .
