    The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI examinations with proficiency. This is accomplished by utilizing various pulse sequences and surface coils.

    The MRI Technologist maintains and operates equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensures proper patient care with special emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior.

    Required Qualifications:
    Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology

    ARRT MR Certification eligible – (requires to become MR registered within 2 years of date of hire).

    CPR certification

    Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology as it related to MRI imaging.

    Knowledge of hospital PAC's system and associated image/sequence organization, and anatomical direction.

    Good communication and organizational skills

    Ability to multi-task based on the situation


    Preferred Qualifications:
    ARRT MR Certification

    Minimum two years of experience
