Summary: Seeking a Quality Technician in the Aviation industry with experience in interpreting engineering requirements and performing inspections.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6-9 months relevant experience in the aviation quality field.
Ability to work from blueprints and interpret engineering requirements.
Knowledge of specifications, quality procedures, and functional/tolerance requirements appropriate for the area of assignment.
Experience inspecting parts for appearance, function, tolerances, dimensions, and specifications.
Proficiency in maintaining inspection paperwork accurately and thoroughly.

Preferred Skills:

Capability to interpret new model engineering changes and provide feedback to Engineering.
Proficient in business applications relevant to the work area.
Effective communication skills for liaising with FAA or other external auditors and customers.
Certifications or qualifications pertinent to the assigned area.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure acceptable quality of parts through detailed inspections following blueprints and engineering specifications.
Complete various forms of inspection documentation as part of quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with engineers by interpreting changes in new models and discussing potential improvements or issues.
Utilize business software tools as needed for inspection tasks and reporting purposes.
Interface professionally with external auditors, including FAA representatives, to uphold compliance standards.

Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with knowledge of drawings, specifications, basic math, and technical aptitude.

Working Hours: Full-time position; Monday - Friday on 1st shift. Overtime may be required as needed.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
