- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional work experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in safety, security, law enforcement, or emergency management
- At least two years of direct supervisory experience in a similar field
- Strong conflict management and crisis resolution skills
- Knowledge of safety and security regulations and practices
- Valid Washington State driver's license or ability to obtain one
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and working with diverse populations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Position Summary
North Seattle College presents an exciting opportunity for a Director of Safety and Security. The Office of Safety and Security at the college aims to create a welcoming, safe, informed, and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify needs and establish supportive responses, managing the Safety and Security team to maintain a responsive campus atmosphere.
Salary Range: $82,348/yr. to $113,719/yr. (DOE)
