Job summary
AWS CES is looking for an EHS Specialist to maintain and update all EHS policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with federal state and local laws regulations oversee record keeping reporting documentation for EHS compliance coordinate facilitate meetings of the Joint EHS Committee conduct ergonomic assessments recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks lead monitor Workers Compensation WC programs including claims management mitigation strategies serve as the ISO Environmental Management Representative maintaining written programs procedures in line with ISO OSHAAS corporate EHS standards manage environmental permits inspections compliance reporting at the plant level train employees on EHS programs policies procedures conduct new hire orientations maintain training documentation coordinate incident investigations root cause analyses ensure timely corrective actions oversee hazardous non hazardous waste management storage handling disposal conduct workplace safety inspections job hazard analyses environmental audits identify correct potential issues lead emergency response planning training drills maintain performance metrics provide data continuous improvement initiatives ensure appropriate selection use PPE safety equipment collaborate with management prevent nonconformance support corrective actions related safety product process issues.
