    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out instructions from the Director of Wellness, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining the highest quality care standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise and monitor nursing staff to ensure exceptional care delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the Director of Wellness, Delegating R.N., and Physician.
    • Administer medications and treatments as per signed doctor's orders, observing effectiveness and reporting to the Physician as needed.
    • Monitor resident conditions, identifying potential issues and intervening promptly.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the nurse's station, med room, and cart.
    • Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants, promoting good interpersonal relationships with residents, visitors, and personnel.

    Additional Requirements

    • CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter.
    • Ability to perform tasks under pressure, lifting up to 60lbs, and working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Punctuality, regular attendance, and good grooming practices are essential.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, currently licensed to practice per state.
    • Work experience in the geriatric field, with strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively.
    • Ability to assess resident conditions, provide empathetic care, and maintain a professional appearance.
