Job DescriptionGENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists and participates in the design, implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental
(HSE) programs and associated quality assurance policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Provides administrative assistance to the Corporate HSE Manager and staff as necessary
Helps design and implement organizational health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations
to ensure a healthy, safe and environmentally compliant working environment
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary
records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines
Ensures employees in each function follow established health, safety and environmental protection
procedures and comply with associated federal, state and local regulations
Assists with the overall management, collection and reporting of GIS's Substance Abuse Program
Manages accidents from a medical standpoint from initial visits, surgeries &/or follow-ups to ensure patient
advocacy and health
Develops and forwards reports of injuries to customers and upper management
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma preferred
6 months to 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
