    SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    :


    The Finance Manager (FM) is responsible for the overall management, direction, and integrity of the accounting, finance, systems, and financial reporting functions for all domestic and international business locations within the business unit.


    The FM actively participates with the Executive Staff in the planning, direction, and policy making for the company and communicates and supports the strategic and operational plans of the business unit.


    The FM provides direction to the accounting/finance staff and leads departmental initiatives to improve, automate, and simplify current accounting and reporting processes to maximize their efficiency and effectiveness.

    The FM mentors' staff and develops talent to support the growing needs of the company.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Front line leader providing direction and feedback which will improve, automate, and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures to maximize the contribution to the overall corporate strategic and business goals.

    Reviews monthly consolidated financial statements, applies accounting theory and IDEX policy as appropriate, and ensures the timely and accurate completion of all deliverables to IDEX.

    Responsible for the leadership oversight and reporting of several accounting functions including, but not limited to, tracking of project savings, Inventory tracking and reporting, company procurement spending, and budget analysis.

    Responsible for forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning. asset preservation and working capital management.
    Develops a robust internal control framework and ensures compliance throughout the organization.
    Direct line to operations leader requirements including but not limited to monthly spending analytics, Inventory analytics, and productivity analysis.
    Partners with the site leader and senior staff in managing the business unit, setting strategy, and executing performance objectives.
    Manages talent by selecting, training, motivating, and developing the finance staff.

    Leads accounting related projects such as new system or policy roll-out, the annual SOX audit, Rapid Improvement Exercises (RIE), monthly business reviews and goal deployment.

    Ensure that all activities are executed fully in compliance with US GAAP and Corporate reporting policies.
    Leads and/or participates in special projects and assignments as required

    KNOWLEDGE,


    SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:

    Must have strong technical skills combined with a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of the business.

    The ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients, across international regions and cross-functional company teams, is critical to success.

    Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to research and apply accounting pronouncements as appropriate.

    Advanced PC/ERP/OneStream experience.
    Thorough knowledge of SOX requirements.

    Superior verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside of the Accounting Department.

    Demonstrates the ability to persuade others to achieve excellence and to foster an environment of openness and teamwork in a supportive manner that facilitates his/her ability to achieve results


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or MBA required.
    Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting and leadership experience.
    Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and implementing accounting and financial reporting standards.
    Ten years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
