    Description


    As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical ophthalmic and cosmetic procedures.

    You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to evaluate patients' medical history, anesthesia requirements, and potential risks. Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and other healthcare team members to develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Administer local anesthesia with monitored sedation in accordance with established protocols. Monitor and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical procedure. Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to closely observe patient's vital signs, respiratory status, and overall physiological responses during surgery. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and take appropriate corrective actions. Expertly manage patients' airway, ensuring proper ventilation and oxygenation during anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information and reassurance regarding anesthesia procedures. Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses and other health professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care. Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records and paper records, documenting all aspects of the anesthesia care provided. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.


    RequirementsQualifications:

    Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) State licensure as a CRNA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Advanced practice nursing degree from an accredited program.

    Experience in proving anesthesia services in an ambulatory surgery setting preferred Must possess the physical, mental, and cognitive skills needed to complete essential tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for comprehension, problem-solving, and timely decision-making.

    Working Conditions:
