    Lucrative Locum Tenens Opportunity in Gastroenterology

      • Shift Schedule: Two weeks of the month, starting in April
      • Trauma Level: 1
      • Office Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
      • State-of-the-Art GI Lab
      • EPIC EMR System

    • Description/Other Details:

      • Procedures Required: ERCP
      • Preferred Procedures: EBUS
      • Non-Core Privileges: Therapeutic ERCP
      • Initial Privileges (Completion of Training Within Past 36 Months):
        • Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited program in gastroenterology with a minimum of 150 ERCP procedures (including 40 sphincterotomies and 10 stent placements)
        • Letter of competence from the Gastroenterology Program Director or supervising Gastroenterology Instructor
      • Required Current Experience (Completion of Training Within Past 36 Months):
        • Demonstrated competence and evidence of performing at least 40 therapeutic ERCP procedures, 10 sphincterotomies, and 10 stent placements in the past 12 months
      • Initial Privileges (Completion of Training Greater Than 36 Months):
        • Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited program in gastroenterology with ERCP training
      • Required Current Experience (Completion of Training Greater Than 36 Months):
        • Demonstrated competence and evidence of performing at least 60 therapeutic ERCP procedures, 15 sphincterotomies, and 15 stent placements in the past 24 months
      • Non-Core Privileges: EUS and Fine Needle Aspiration (Preferred)
      • Initial Privileges (Completion of Training):
        • Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited program in gastroenterology with a minimum of 100 EUS procedures and 20 fine needle aspirations
      • Required Current Experience (Completion of Training):
        • Demonstrated competence and evidence of performing at least 20 therapeutic EUS procedures in the past 12 months or completion of training in the past 12 months
