    Are you passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services? If so, BayCare is looking for a Surgical Technologist – Certified to join our dynamic team at Wesley Chapel Hospital. As part of the BayCare family, you will work alongside dedicated professionals who prioritize trust, respect, and clinical excellence.

    Position Description:

    • The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the perioperative period, assisting the healthcare team under the guidance of an RN to ensure top-notch patient care.
    • Responsibilities include preparing equipment, instruments, and patients to maintain a sterile environment, coordinating specimen disposal, assisting with inventory management, and supporting patient transport.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program OR equivalent experience
    • Current Surgical Tech Certification
    • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

    Specific Skills:

    • Proficiency in sterile technique, instrumentation, and equipment operation
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Location: Wesley Chapel Hospital

    Status: Full Time, Exempt

    Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

    Shift: Days

    Weekend Work: Occasional

    On Call: Yes

    Position Eligibility for COVID19 Vaccine: Yes - CMS Requirements Apply

    Remote Work: Never
