    Engineer in Training (EIT) or Project Manager (PE) - Land Development

    Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

    Compensation: *Competitive compensation based on experience* (Up to $130,000)

    Experience: 3-8 years

    Job Description:

    We are currently partnered with a dynamic Civil Engineering Firm in South Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to become a key member of the newly established South Carolina Office. The company is supported by a renowned national Fortune 500 company specializing in home building and development.

    We are looking for a proactive Civil Engineer (EIT) or Project Manager (PE) with a keen eye for detail to join the Land Development team. This role involves working on diverse land development projects such as residential, commercial, and industrial site designs. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about learning, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a genuine interest in land development engineering.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of land development projects.
    • Create engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for site development.
    • Conduct on-site visits and inspections to ensure project adherence to design standards and regulations.
    • Perform calculations and evaluations for grading, drainage, and utility designs.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to devise effective land development strategies.
    • Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to craft precise engineering designs.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    • Fundamental understanding of land development principles and methodologies.
    • Proficiency in CAD software, especially AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
    • EIT certification/PE License or the ability to acquire within 6 months to 1 year of employment.
